A new opportunity has arisen for FareShare Cymru members to borrow kitchen equipment to deal with catering food.

A series of news items has shone a light on the Vale of Glamorgan’s involvement in an exciting new project coordinated by Food Sense Wales.

Pantri i Bawb is a brand-new food project designed to give local people access to good food at affordable prices.

With support from the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund, we have commissioned locally based PER Consulting and Lafan to examine the potential demand for a shared kitchen facility within the Vale communities of Barry, Penarth and Llantwit Major.

A new survey has been launched to help organisations in the Vale better understand local food experiences.

Food Cardiff and Food Vale have launched a new guide for Sustainable Food Procurement in the public sector.

Following a successful debut event last year, the ‘Vale Food Trail’ will return later this year, running from 26th May – 4th June 2024.

The Llantwit Food Project, which aims to make affordable healthy meals available to everyone in Llantwit Major, has won the 2023 Ystadau Cymru Award.
