On Monday, July 11th, Jane Hutt, Minister for Social Justice chaired a Cost of Living Summit during which she announced a series of intervention packages, including financial support for cross-sector food partnerships in Wales.

We are pleased to announce that the Llantwit Major Food Access Project has successfully received funding for its pilot, creating access to affordable, healthy and nutritious food for many communities across the Vale.

Today (Wednesday, June 15th), it’s been announced that the Vale of Glamorgan has been awarded Bronze Sustainable Food Places status, becoming only the second place in Wales to achieve the prestigious accolade.

Communities across the Vale are taking the reins this year in the second Food Vale festival.
The festival is being organised by Food Vale, part of the Sustainable Food Places network – a partnership programme led by the Soil Association, Food Matters and Sustain: the alliance for better food and farming.
