Pantri i Bawb is a brand-new food project designed to give local people access to good food at affordable prices.

With support from the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund, we have commissioned locally based PER Consulting and Lafan to examine the potential demand for a shared kitchen facility within the Vale communities of Barry, Penarth and Llantwit Major.

The St Athan Foodshare scheme is an extension of the wider Llantwit Food Project, led by the Food Vale Partnership overseen by the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board Public Health team and delivered in collaboration with local partners, including the Vale of Glamorgan Council and Glamorgan Voluntary Services.

On 23rd November, over 60 activists, food producers, and key partners joined together at Barry Memo Arts Centre to discuss a strategy and vision for the future of food in the Vale of Glamorgan.
