New FareShare Cymru ‘pop up kitchens’ available to members in the Vale!

A new opportunity has arisen for FareShare Cymru members to borrow kitchen equipment to deal with catering food.

The types of surplus food that FareShare Cymru receives has changed recently, and FareShare Cymru are receiving more catering style types of food than ever. As always, they want to ensure that no good food goes to waste.

To support existing FareShare Cymru members to receive catering food, they have developed a limited number ‘pop up kitchens’ available to members free of charge. The pop-up kitchens are to support members to accept catering sized surplus food and turn it into meals to support the local community. Save The kitchens include (but are not exhaustive of): a portable oven, two portable hobs, a slow cooker, an air fryer, rice cooker, steamer, mixing bowls, measuring cups, measuring jugs, pots, pans, cooking utensils, cutlery, knives, chopping board sets, crockery and everything you could possibly need to run a successful and much needed cooking project in your community.
