A two week celebration of food that is good for people, place and planet 24 May – 7 June 2026

Food Vale has launched the Vale Food Strategy 2025-2030 – a five-year plan to create a thriving, healthy, fair and sustainable local food system.

The award recognises Food Vale’s work to promote healthy, sustainable and local food and to tackle some of today’s greatest social challenges; from food poverty and diet-related ill-health to the struggles faced by local food producers and businesses and the decline in understanding of where our food comes from.

We’re excited to announce the launch of the Good Practice Guide and Community Toolkit for Shared Community Kitchens —a brand-new guide designed to support organisations that are considering setting up or operating from a shared community kitchen.
