New food grant launched to promote equality and participation

Food Vale is running a Small Grants Scheme designed to assist third-sector organisations, community groups, public sector initiatives and social enterprises delivering interventions around healthy and sustainable food aimed specifically to enable and amplify participation of members of groups with one or more Protected Characteristic. This is a Welsh Government Ministry of Justice Local Food Partnership Development Fund, administered by Glamorgan Voluntary Services on behalf of Food Vale. Collaborative applications between organisations are welcomed. Organisations are invited to apply for a maximum of £2,500 revenue to be spent in full by 31st March 2026. There is no minimum amount. However, if you have a particularly innovative project that would require funding above the suggested maximum amounts we’d encourage you to still apply and these applications will also be considered. Collaborative applications between private, public and third sector are encouraged. Please note this funding is revenue only.
